11 SUGGESTIONS ON WHERE TO GO WITH YOUR CHILDREN DURING YOUR DENTAL PROCEDURE IN ZAGREB:
The Zagreb Zoo is a nice experience for both children and adults, especially on warmer days when animals are out of their dwellings. It is located at Maksimirski perivoj, and from the clinic you can reach it by tram line number 11 (from the tram stop Sveti Duh). The ride to the ZOO takes an average of 30 minutes, and you need to get off the tram at the Park Maksimir stop. Across the street from the stop you will see the entrance to the Zoo.

After visiting the Zoo, you can also enjoy the nature of Park Maksimir, within which the ZOO is located.
A wonderful place to walk and play, especially in spring and summer. During the winter months, the Christmas Advent in Maksimir takes place in the park. Advent in Maksimir is the perfect choice for all those who want to experience a different Advent – children will enjoy activities such as different workshops, and parents can relax with music and local delicacies! When creating the offer of Advent dishes, the youngest were thought of - each house has a specially designed offer for children! A walk through the center of Zagreb can be sweetened with different desserts. We really like the ones from The Cookie Factory and we would definitely recommend that you take a break there while sightseeing Zagreb. Sports and recreation center Bundek consists of The Great and Small Lakes. On the Great Lake there is a coastline of 10,000 m². If you are in Zagreb during the summer months, your safety and the safety of other swimmers are taken care of by the rescue and medical service, and the quality of the bathing water is regularly checked. The entrance to the lake is adapted for people with disabilities because the built ramp provides wheelchair access.
The small lake is inhabited by numerous plant and animal species and its function is to preserve their habitat. Bundek is best visited while the weather is warm, but it is also a very nice place for a leisurely, winter walk.
You can see the recently opened Chocolate Museum every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and it is located in Varšavska 5. Adults pay 60 kuna for this museum, children from 4 to 18 years 40 kuna, and for children up to 4 years of age the entrance is free. In the very center of Zagreb, at Ilica 72, lies an incredible world of illusions, and its main characters are you and your loved ones. Gravity Room, Mirror Room and Inverted Room are just some of the over 70 fun illusions with which time will simply fly by, and as the Museum says - you will experience the impossible.
In summer, part of the city park Ribnjak turns into a beautiful oasis called Art Park Zagreb. This place of all kinds of art, casual summer gatherings and good atmosphere you will find in the center of Zagreb. During June and July, Art Park becomes a real open-air art gallery where you can see how many artists from Croatia and the world have decided to leave their mark. Various workshops for children and adults are also held in the park; you can also watch a movie under the stars, play a table tennis tournament, enjoy musical evenings that suit different tastes, and numerous art festivals hold part of their program right on the green areas of Zagreb's Ribnjak. From the popular Stross i.e. Strossmayer Promenade offers one of the most beautiful views of Zagreb. But in summer and winter Stross offers more than just a view because there is always something going on. Concerts, exhibitions, puppet theatre and art workshops will be complemented by an excellent offer of food and drinks. Zakmardi's stairs will take you to Stross from Radićeva Street or you can take a ride on the shortest and oldest public transport in Zagreb - the funicular. The price of one ride is 5 kuna, and departures are every 10 minutes.

Winter is a time to skate! Everyone who visits Zagreb in winter can take their little ones to skate. During Advent in Zagreb, the most magical place for this is certainly the Ice Park on Tomislavac, but one should not forget about the small, hidden ice rink at Advent in Klovićevi dvori. If you like to recreate to the sounds of the latest music hits, the šalata outdoor skating rink video-disco skating rink is the right choice for you! The skating season in Šalata lasts from the beginning of November to the beginning of March.
Skating dates are from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, while on weekends and holidays you can choose between three appointments: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Detailed price list can be found here.
If you prefer skating in the hall, Zagreb has a solution for that as well.
The Sports Rink opens the season at the end of September and lasts until the beginning of March. Skating can be done on Thursdays and Fridays from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. or weekends from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Ticket price per person is 15 kuna, and if you do not have your own skates you can rent them for an additional 15 kuna.
The second is the closed-type ice rink fair Velesajam. At the Fair you can skate on Fridays and weekends from 20:00 to 21:30. The prices of tickets and rented skates are the same as those of the Dom Sportova ice rink.
